so we applied for a job in sydney that stated they would give visa 457 to the right applicant here is what we got back:

The MCL International Investment Pty Ltd service information of oversea / interstates candidate:

The Client shall pay the Company AUD$45,000 (Australian Dollars Forty Five Thousand) for its services in manner as follows:

1) $5000_____________________ upon signing on this agreement (unlimited job search, unlimited job interview within 60days, refundable after 60days if do not settle down with a job)

2) $15,000_____________________ upon obtaining upon getting employment contract, lodgment submission of 457 or ENS or RSMS (included all government costs, lawyer costs and court costs)

3) $15,000___________________ upon receipt of approval for 457 Visa, Nomination approval (for ENS) or RCB Approval (for RSMS) – offer bank loan service

4) $10,000 upon receipt of approval letter for PR for RSMS or ENS PR or similar. – offer bank loan service

ou can try, ere is a thread on visa scams/fraud at the top of this forum. However they aren't claiming to be a registeed agent, they are just saying if someone is daft enough to sign with them, they could be liable for a large bill.

that i dont think is even legal...but even if they get the 5000 they would be very happy indeed....

Where did you get this company's details from? For example, a Google search, or recommended by someone?

They seem to be trading on/using the name of a well known Australian company, in the hope that people will think they are a legitimate part of this company:

MLC is an Australian asset and wealth management company, which was acquired by the National Australia Bank. It provides investment, superannuation, insurance and private wealth services to corporate and institutional customers

I don't see any information there about immigration, recruitment services I think it's doubtful that the Australian government could do much if this bogus/scam company is based overseas. However, I'm sure that the real MLC would be very interested to hear of them, and perhaps the authorities in your country?

I hope that Wing Wu gets caught and kicked up the Yin Yang!!
