visa payment

hi everyone,

can anyone tell me whether the 'bankcard' option on the visa aplication means a debit/switch card or is it something totally different, also if i have to use a credit card can my dad use his card to pay for me , i don't have a credit card - it does not give any info on this

thanks for any info

Re: visa payment

Bank card means visa/debit type

I am the applicant on ours but my wife used her card details

I don't think their bothered who pays, but maybe a few other posts may confirm this presumption.

What they did do (dima) was emailed to check the card details and the wife responded, it may have been just a check.

Are you applying in Australia? If so "Bankcard" is an old kind of card over here.
