Re: Visa Granted - Woohoo
Thanks for the wishes everyone
My timelines are as follows:
Taken IELTS in February 2010 and had the required 7+ in each section.
7th April 2011 - EA Skills Assessment Positive
23 April 2011 - Lodged Application for a 176 Family Sponsored Visa
1st December - CO Allocated- Asked for Meds and PCC
16th December - Meds showing as finalised
20th December - Visa Granted
Looking at my timelines I wonder if DIAC is one of the most efficient govt. departments in the world. Less than 8 months for granting a Visa for which the processing time are normally 18 months
Cheers!!

Hi Vober,
i'm new in this forum. But firstly, le me congratulate you for having the visa granted. If you don't mind, can I have a copy of your CDR. I'm now in the process of completing mine and I'd like to use yours as a reference.
Thanks in advance.

wen, sory to burst a bubble here but a CDR should be an original work drafted, reviewed & finalised by yourself - you can have a peer or superior from your professon proof read it, is all the help you can really expect
