Hey, did anyone else who applied for their visa in February receive a letter (back in March) saying that they expect to grant you a visa within 3 months? I got one but have heard nothing..

I applied for a 175 visa - I think I was category 3 but with this new system I'm category 4?? Don't think it's really changed much as they've just added more categories!
I've already submitted my medicals etc and they're showing as finalised - do you know if there's a time limit for how long they're valid?

Hi everyone,
I have a concern with my application that was lodged in Feb. 2011. I received an email on 18-Mar-11 that it would be allocated to a case officer within three months of email, however, it didn't happen! Any Feb 2011 applicant with CO yet? It's a GSM 175, simple plain case, IMO.
Secondly, here's something weird: one of my mates applied in Nov-2010. He received the same email. Got allocated to case officer eary Aug. and now holds the PR! As per processing times though, they are still at Aug-2010. How is that possible? The application was similar GSM 175.
Any comments / thoughts will help me keep quiet for few more months
