I received a visa 489 sponsored by South Australia. I checked visa condition, it says that:
8539 - While the visa holder is in Australia they cannot live, study or work outside of a regional or low growth metropolitan area. This means anywhere in Australia except in:
• Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Central Coast in New South Wales
• Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland
• Perth in Western Australia
• Melbourne in Victoria
• the Australian Capital Territory.
I need to know if I have to stay only in SA or can I move to any area not listed above?

So do you not plan on living in SA?

I thought that I have to live only in the state that I got the nomination from, in my case South Australia, but according to visa conditon, I can move to other areas. Is it right??

No. You must live in the sponsoring state.

With the 489 you should get permission to move to another state. This is not a visa I would be messing around on, it is only provisional remember.
