It took more than an year for me. After CO it took just 1 and half month to finalise everything and got the grant letter.
The visa is good which is 3 years with 2 years stay in australia and 1 year job in the same designation leading to PR.

Paper lodged 20th june 2008
CO allocated 4th august 2009
Medical and PCC send 23rd august 2009
Further medical requested 4th september 2009
Medical send 8th september
Visa granted 22nd september 2009
