*g*, I can imagine that it is very hard to be patient when the application is allocated a CO.
Oh my, that is a long time. And maybe it's even going to be worse now that they changed to priority processing...

I also am an AUG 2010 applicant, my visa was granted last week. I have already put a label in my passport in Auckland.
Does your visa is also valid only till 2016? Mine is so...
It probably means that after five years you must depart AUS-I was hoping that PR is for life

send blank email to check the current processing. i am not too sure if they are still updated. you can check at www.immi.gov.au

Ah, now I get it. And I received my confirmation email, too which stated exactly what you said. To send a blank email to check for the times of the allocation.
