I have attached only my Resume, Skills assesment report and Degree certificate for Vic SS ...is that enough???...shud I send anything else like mark sheets etc?

I think, that is enough. I attached only CV (I do not hav assesment yet).
What did they tell you? 10 weeks for waiting?

Hi Polly the waiting time is 8 weeks as per their website...

But I have a problem here...I have submitted my SS application 3 days ago....but when I track my application online my Application status is not given ...the column for application status is blank...also I donot have a case id...Normally how many days shud we wait for this
anyone??

My status stayed blank through the whole process. It was never updated, even when I got SS.

But I have read somewhere on this forum about this guy who didnt have a case id and once he contacted the Vic department , they said they had never received such an application....cant find that post now....

any way thanks for ur experience maybe I can rest assured

Our status also has always shown as blank - we do have a case number.

I think everyone seems to get an acknowledgement email sent to them confirming the application was received - but that this email may take up to a week to arrive (ours came immediately).
So maybe if you do not have an acknowledgement letter and case number after a week maybe it might be worth contacting them just in case.

Today I have received a replay from DIAC for my PLE that i have sent last week. It says "I can confirm that your visa application has been assigned to a case officer.

A preliminary assessment will shortly be conducted on your visa application to determine if any further documentation is required"

but did not say any thing about when the CO has been assigned. Dose the sentence (preliminary assessment) mean the CO just recently assigned??

I assume so but I am in no hurry to move. I will travel in the next couple of months buy an apartment in Queensland and then plan next steps....
