I have absolutely no idea if you want to appeal. I wouldn't imagine anything will change, as they say, your only hope is to find sponsorship. People do find sponsors, 457 holders have to find employers or they don't get the visa. The company has to 'prove' to DIAC that they have tried to find local employees of the required standard, prior to finding you.

If you desperately want to live and work in Australia then you will want to find sponsorship. If you're 'over it' and have decided that cost of living etc makes Australia not quite so attractive you let it go.

Dear Mr. Gypsy,

I have planned to apply for 176 visa including my wife and one children. I have applied for Victoria Sponsorship but there was no option for dependents. Now I've got email from Victoria about financial resources.

My question is, should I mention details of my dependents to Victoria for sponsorship purpose and if so then I have to estimate the amount of finance to show them.

Second question is that, they asked me about financial resources. Should I only reply with a final figure and details of finances or I've to show proof of my financial resources as well?

Thanks in advance.

Yes Mr. baljinsi, I also think so but I need confirmation. Can anyone else also help me and clarify whether should I give proof or just mention a final figure of my financial resources. The text from the email sent by Victoria is as follows

We are currently processing your application and need you to confirm the amount of financial resources you have available to assist your migration; including all of your assets (in Australian dollars). We request that you provide one figure that is inclusive of all your assets.

We do not indicate the funds required to make a successful application. It your responsibility to research the cost of living in Victoria, and to provide a true and accurate reflection of the funds you have available for migration. We do not require evidence of the resources available

I would suggest You should act upon; This seems to be a straight arrow....If they need any further information , they will send you another mail--As of now what they need , that should be provided at the earliest...

Hi Hafiz,
As far my application is concerned , I have mentioned the estimated fund FIGURE for which i can provide proof on request. When they will ask for proof hopefully i will be able to arrange.

Also, Its clearly written in there statement they require figure only no proof at the moment as following.
We request that you provide one figure that is inclusive of all your assets.

Please go ahead with estimated figure and submit it.

Regards.

I applied for 176 shortly after my 175 application, anticipating 176 results will come out earlier, yet today I receive an email from 175, asking for Health and police clearance and said CO will be allocated in 3 months.

SS is really slow ....
