Thanks..
One more thing umair---Would you please share your total IT exp?
Actually I am an SAP BI/BO consultant with 4.5 years and have seen plenty of jobs (4-5 jobs per week on seek.com.au) in this area in Melbourne itself so even I have high hopes. But I am little concerned for amount of experience (only4.5 yrs), Do you have any idea if ppl with 4+ years are being sponsored by states?
Thanks,

Hi,
Mate my total experience is now around 5+ years. And I have seen ppl with 4 years of experience may be less then 4. My opinion is they consider every thing which includes work experience, skills set, funds, job market etc.. SAP is very demanding field so I think you should try ahead... Have you applied for SS yet? I think they are not accepting ITC applications now.

Thanks.

It is our assessment that there is currently a demand for your experience and qualifications in Victoria, Australia. You have also assessed yourself as meeting the requirements of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) Skilled – Sponsored visa scheme

Will try to lodge 176 visa application at my earliest.

Best of luck for all other applicants.

Thanks.
Congratulation Umair...

HI Umair,
Thanks a lot for your response.
I have already applied for VIC sponsorship on 15th DEC2010, still waiting for approval.Fingers crossed!
Actually I have got IELTS 7.5 7.5 6.0 6.5. I have yet not tried again for IELTS. I am sure I can manage 7 in speaking if I reappear but at the sametime I am sure it is very difficult for me to get 7 in writing(I hardly use any idioms or quotations in my writing). SO I am now waiting for sponsorship and then 176. I hope by end of April if VIC gives me positive outcome. If I see SEEK.COM.AU, it has plenty of jobs everyday in my skill-set. I am also SAP Certified. So expecting things to be in favour.
I feel ENglish writing cannot be improved in days to get 7 out of 9. And so 176 is just the option left. Your suggestions on this please...

Baljinsi,
As SAP is very demanding field and by having experience in SAP i believe you have chances to get successful result but we just can have good hopes

So I would say wait for their response till end of April and besides you start preparation for ielts, may be you will get 7 in each.

Best of luck.

Thanks.

Hello,

If you are granted SS, but still need to obtain a new ACS assessment, I understand you need to get it within 4 months after being granted SS? Is that right or totally wrong?

Regards,
P.

The point is validity of SS is 4 months from the date of approval.

Say you applied for SS under ANZSCO code Business Analyst (261111) and the current skills assessment you have in hand is 2231-79 (nec). Unless and until you get skills assessment under Business Analyst (261111) within the validity (4 months) of SS and lodge your 176 with the new skills assessment, the SS gets expired. Simple.
