6th Jan and my ref number is SS-2011-001XX which means between 6th Jan and 25th Jan, there were approx 350+ apps submitted 
And yep, please don't post reference numbers or other personal info here on the forums. You can mask the last two digits at least.

.so when u submitt your commitment letter and have u recieve any acknowledgment email so far?....
i think they r processing fast nw,
as i said i just submitt my funds availablity on 28 and i got reply just after next day...
they were working very slow few months back..
hoping for the best..
and if you plzz share your letter of commitment tht will be great..

Hope am on the right forum, I did apply for assesment as System Analyst 261112 but got mail from ACS proposing/quoting that am more suitable for Computer Network & System Engineer 263111 which seems not to be on the current SOL, kindly can someone advice on the best way forward as I would like to have the option to apply for a 175. Anyone got an optionl code or solution to share urgently.

Applied on 4th Nov. 2010 with ACS in 2231–79[Java Specialist] and 261399 Software and Applications Programmers nec.
Later on changed to 24th Nov. 2010 by Victoria as Received Application Date.

Under the Victorian Government’s program, sponsorship is offered to skilled migrants whose skills and experience are in high demand in the Victorian labour market at the time of assessment. High demand may mean those skilled migrants whose skill sets are hard to come by or are rare and unusual.
During the assessment process the Victorian Government consults with industry representatives in Victoria to determine the demand for an applicant’s qualifications, skills and experience, and whether they have high prospects for employment in their field.
All decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
While your occupation meets the eligibility criteria to be considered for state sponsorship, there is not sufficiently high demand for your skills and experience to offer sponsorship at this time.
Note that we would be happy to re-assess your application should you be able to obtain a valid offer of employment in your nominated occupation within Victoria, while your occupation remains eligible to be considered for Victorian Government sponsorship.

I have applied for Sponsorship around 4 months back. Got acknowledgment after 2-3 weeks i guess, not sure about the exact dates.
My skills set are (C#,ASP.NET, SharePoint, JAVA...etc) and I have applied against ANZSCO Code: Developer Programmer.
