1. Have any carpenters online recently taken the VETASSESS practical test?
2. Can you give me an idea of the sort of questions and practical tasks you were given?
3. How did you find it? Easy or Hard??

are you in for the dec practical?
oh is also a carpenter/joiner and we're just waiting any day now for our date in dec in birmingham

Hi again,

I missed the December slot as the cut off period for handing in aplications was the end of October I think but will apply for the one in Febuary/April.

Since I wrote this thread this afternoon though i've found hundreds of pages of info on the practical assessments and what you'll be tested on and it looks pretty straight forward to me which is a weight off my mind

Where have you seen information on what you will be tested on my OH just found out he been booked on December 10th practicals in Lancashire (Bricklayer), as these are the 1st ones no-one seems to know what to expect.

Do you have the website address for this information as my O/H would like to know what his practical entails as he is a HGV mechanic, even though he has worked on cars, it would be useful to know if vetassess are testing them on one type of thing or they will have different tests for the different types of mechanic (HGV & cars)
