Hiya all, long time since I've been on this website. Recently just been browsing.
I'm validating PR visa next week. (main applicant)
Arriving 3rd April & leaving 7th or 8th April.
Not long, I know, but its all the time I can get off work.
It will be worth it though to validate.
Keeps our options open for another few years.
I presume it will be quite easy to reapply for the rest of the family for their PR again.
So.... I wondered if anyone had room for 1 for a couple of nights.
I'd especially love to hear from any of the old crowd that I used to banter with on this site that are now over there.
Thanks in advance,
Shona xx

Never presume anything.
You will have to sponsor your wife and the rest of the family under
the Family Stream. New application form for them, new medicals, new
police checks, new application fee, the works.
Plus, as an Australian PR, you need to be 'usually resident' in
Australia in order to sponsor. This might cause some issues if you
have only validated your visa and not actually done anything to
establish residence in Australia.
I'd get in touch with a good migration agent if I were you.

Good luck. Give us plenty of feedback (suburbs, housing etc.) when you return.
