US Police Check Services

Dear All,

There is company in London that offers fingerprinting services for US FBI police checks. Please take the relevant FBI form with you – they do not supply this form. The cost of fingerprinting is £50 + VAT.

The details of the company is:
Jon MacLeod
BSB Group
8-10 Grovenor Gardens
Victoria
London SW1W 0DH
Phone: 02079798833

By the way does anyone know of any other agencies that offer this service for less. Please update this for the benefit of other readers.

Jude

Most (if not all) UK police Fingerprint Bureaux will also offer this service. If you contact your local police HQ they will put you in touch with the local bureau, and for London contact the Met Police at New Scotland Yard. Again you will need to take the FBI form with you, as the FBI do not accept your prints on any other form.
However the advantage of going to your local police is that the cost SHOULD be considerably less than the £50 + vat quoted here!
If you live in Sussex for example the fee is £20 inc VAT, as set by the Home Office.

fingerprints here in the US.

Useful to know, but keep in mind that an FBI check may not be needed.
Many of us have asked for and received police clearance certificates
from the state police in the state we lived in.

Rob and others please note,

Not all states offer police certificates. under state law (for some states) records can only be provided to law enforcement agencies. This this case of if you have lived in multiple states, FBI report might be your best and fastest choice.

Re: US Police Check Services

i got the fbi certificate in just two weeks and i applied from Sydney
Australia.
I didn't use the fbi form i did fingerprinting on Local Police
"FINGERPRINT FORM".
FBI accepted the form and issued me a no arrest certificate within two
weeks including the mail time.
I hope this will help.

NS u don't need a fbi fingerprint card to do your fingerprint, u can
use any official police fingerprint form.
Thanks
kashi

Ali,
Please do not give wrong information to other candidates. Please refer to CJIS Division Report 2003 about this requirement. All fingerprints have to provided on FBI approved forms only. Not sure which form you used to get the reports, but you might have been lucky. Others please beaware you could loose a lot of time sending stuff to FBI on wrong forms.

Were these then accepted by DIMIA? Have you received PR by simply using
these forms?

Mike
