My family and I are having our medicals on Wednesday next week. I have two boys of 17 and 18. I have just read the medical form which says that medical tests are required for "RPR (Rapid Plasma Reagin) or VDRL (Venereal Disease Reference Laboratory) test for syphilis are required for 15 year olds and over)". Can anyone please tell me what this entails? I know for sure that neither of my boys will underto anything really personal (or painful).

Hi Gaffer,
Those are simple blood tests. A little syringe of blood is taken and sent to the lab and results attached to your meds when they return. Hope this helps!
