Default Urgent advise needed re: Resident Return Visas

[I]Hello all,

Need advise about renewing Resident Return Visas, ours expire end of September, if my husband went over before they expire would he be able to get them renewed whilst over there. We are planning to buy a property and then a business possibly next year.

Any advise would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance

Hi there, thanks for your reply, no we have not been in Australia for the last 2 years out of the five ( although we did go over for 5 weeks)for compelling family reasons:

my husband's eldest brother was taken ill with lymphoma and died prematurely.

His youngest brother then fell ill and died of a brain tumour.

Whilst all this was happening my Dad had a heart attack and waited 12 months to have a heart valve opertion.

Would these family circumstances be considered do you think?
