UPS.....Spot on !!
Just thought id'e let you all know how we got on sending our meds via UPS to Sydney.
We asked our panel docs if they could arrange the courier but they explained they only sent them vis normal 1st class post of if we liked by royal mail "International Signed For" at cost of £10.00 per head!! (i could get the same service down the PO for £11.00!!)
The package was picked up at our home on 10/11/04 @ 2.30pm.... the driver did not need to see inside (unlike DHL who wanted me to take it to thier nearest depot "45 miles away!!)
It was sent via their express service they arrived at DIMIA in Sydney 15/11/04 @ 10.15 am
I was able to track the package on-line the whole way, it went through numerous scanning machines for security i suppose.
the package was clearly labeled DO NOT BREAK SEAL as the panel docs surgery sealed the envelope containing all our stuff (including x-ray films!)and signed across it so it could not be opened until it gets to Sydney.
the best £38.00 i've spent recently...
hope this helps anyone thinking of using a courier in the near future.
Shillo.
