Hi, we are in oz on 457 and in process of getting PR ( fingers crossed )
but our police checks for UK have expired, how do we apply from OZ?
Does anybody know where to access the forms required

You download the form from your former UK police force, visit http://www.police.uk

Consult form 47p for knowing exactly what kind of check you need:

Processes may be slightly different if you have lived in Scotland in the last 10 years (you'll need to ask on the forum in that case).

No worries - these forms are often only findable if you know the right terms to search for, unfortunately. I have a growing list of links to various forces that I have researched for people!

I think this is applicable to anyone who lives or lived in England.
I applied from the US, took about 8 weeks.

Thats the form for the Met - best to use that one if your last/current address was in the London area.
Gets confusing with each force having different forms!
