UK Or Australian Passports and Visa requirements help please

Hi All,

My 2 children are travelling to the UK from Oz in August to go to my brothers wedding they are both Oz (since 2008) and UK citizens (having been born there) we are not sure which passport to send them with the first one is 18 and is going on a one way ticket the second child is 14 and has a return ticket - they are travelling with my sister who is a UK citizen any thoughts on what will be easiest ??

They need to leave and re-enter Aus on their Aussie passports. They could use those to enter the UK but if on a one way ticket they would probably be better off using theif British ones- Aussie ones allow entry for 6 months as a visitor and they may get asked about onward flights.

Yup, get them both Aus and UK passports - Aus one to leave and re-enter Aus and UK one o enter and leave UK. Much less hassle

Older one, who is presumably going to stay longer (otherwise would have return ticket?), should have a U.K. passport.

Younger one can use Australian passport to enter the United Kingdom.
