UK to Australia
Hi,
Can anyone offer any advice, I’m wanting to move to Canada, I work as a Mechanical Engineer, I’ve been trying to secure a job however I’ve ha no luck so far as I’m not living in Australia.
Where is the best place to go in Australia for engineering jobs? Should I move then look for work?
I don’t want to get there and not secure employment and have to return?

Secondly, for Australia - you cannot just move here and then look for a job. You need to secure a visa first. Many people do not have a job to come to, they get the visa then look for a job once they are here. However, you need to see if you qualify for a visa first Assuming you are under 45, start here - https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/
