Default Trying to help a friend

Not sure if anyone will know the answers on this but i have a friend who is a nursery nurse and has up to NVQ grade 3. I have done a search but not had much luck.

The occupation does come up on the list as NurseryPerson but i can`t find any criteria for it.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi FC,

If your friend is working as a child care centre administrator or early
childhood teacher it may be worthwhile looking at the skilled occupation
list, as an NVQ may earn her a 40 point occupation. Perhaps she can find an
education option here?

Cheers

Thanks George. I have spoken to my friends and have passed your details on as the husband is qualified in IT but is reluctant to use it on the application.

I hope I've attributed the comment correctly, but I can't understand why
the husband is reluctant to use his skills?

Jeremy,

Perhaps the husband doesn't want to go through the hassle of an RPL? I'm just hazarding a guess here, of course.

Spot on, but they may have to go down that route now. I think he is worried also about IT coming off the list.

Thanks for all the replies.

FC,

While we must recognize the risks (I'm not suggesting any particular one), we also musn't be paralyzed into indecision or inactivity.
