TRA(Electronic Equipment Tradesperson) or Engineers AU(Electronics Engineer)?
Dear friends,
Please advise!!! I have a Bachelor degree in Radio Engineering, specialising in the field of medical radio and electronic devices and systems. Due to fact that my IELTS results are 5.5, 6, 6, 7 that means I can't apply through Engineers AU now. Therefore I consider TRA. I have 4 years experience as a Electronic Equipment Tradesperson. I reviewed Pathway A : Formal training: The training cited must be formal, vocational training which: 9.4.1. consists of not less than 900 hours of structured tuition (including tuition by the military); 9.4.2. has been conducted in concurrence with employment; 9.4.3. is directly related to the occupation; 9.4.4. has been accredited by an authorised governing body whose standards can be independently verified by TRA (eg. government, military or recognised industrial party); and 9.4.5. results in the award of certification verifying completion of such training. Does Bachelor Degree in Radio Engineering is directly related to Electronic Equipment Tradesperson? Do I meet above requirements? May I get in general approval from TRA having completed University program (overqualified)? Do I need minimum 4 or 5 years experience for Electronic Equipment Tradesperson ? |
