Default Time taken for getting PR Card

Hello,

My husband has completed the first stage in Aus PR Card and he is Chartered Accountant from India. We will be applying for the second stage , please can anyone tell me generally how much time does it takes to get the Visa Authorisation Letter, which can then be used to enter Australia.

Also can this letter be used to apply for jobs in Australia.

Thanks

What PR card are you talking about and what first stage have you cleared? Are you talking about skill assessment?

There is no way of guessing how much time his visa approval will take. You just focus on applying the visa right now, dont worry about the time frame ahead .. though as a rough idea, for HR countries, visa approval might take anywhere between 1-2 yrs. I am assuming you will be applying for 175, as some other visas might be processed faster than this.
And yes, if you get PR, you and your husband will both be able to live/work/study in Australia
