Re: Thread for timeline/processing/how long is a piece of string questions
Why is everyone on here so damn worried about job verification? Job verification is not done on every application. If the CO is satisfied with your paperwork you will get the visa grant without you ever hearing from them.
I get the feeling there are a lot of people bull****ing about their job, hence the worry.

Re: If I send filled form 80,need I fill up complete charecter assessment?????
Form is submitted to DIAC when you clicked the submit button. Its normal. Feel at home. If link would have remained there, then there was an issue. If all your docs have status = 'met' then, I think you just have to wait for

Meds & PCC done (s/c 475)... wht to do next?
Dear all,
Plz. refer my signature below. its been 3 months gone from my date of e-application lodge. recently my co contacted on 05 june 2009 asking the evidance of dependency.. As I included my parents and two sisters as a non-migrating dependent, he adviced that as per the law they are not to be considered as a dependt on me.. therefore he asked me to supply with a letter stating you wish to remove for the same. I have already send a letter to my co on the same day.
Recently I received a mail from HOC that they need more medical test for one of my dependent (elder sister).. Then I replied to HOC that I have been already written a letter to my co to remove all the dependent from my application as it was being asked by my co only.
please advice me Have I done it right?? My medical still showing outstanding but all other test showing received. All check list showing requested for all documents.
please advice me... what should I do..
Do I need to lodge PLE???
THANK YOU,
Regards,
Mayur

Thanks Mukesam, none of my documets show 'met'. Instead the 'health document' shows required and the 'further information' too shows required. Don't know what to do....

Just wait, if anything would be required, DIAC will contact you. Some COs don't update online docs status so don't take tension.

All occupations NOT on CSL and SS have been put on hold since 03/09
hi All.
Thought this info would help those who have been waiting for their PR outcome and are still awaiting endlessly.
That all applications with occupations Not on CSL or Without State Sponsor have been put on hold since March 2009.
No matter if your claimed occupation Has been or Used to be in the Occupation on Demand List before the CSL came into effect, and no matter when you lodged your application because this rule applies to ALL applications in the system regardless of the time of lodgement, even before and after the new laws changed due to the immigration cutdown and the economy downturn.
For example, the case officer would rather pick out a recently lodged application with CSL or SS than any others even they were lodged 1 year ago or more.
I think all old applications with SS last year are now being processed before they get back to recently CSL and SS ones.
So be patient everyone. One thing is your application is not "lost" in the system.
All the best. Cheers

What is your occupation? If it is still on the Updated CSL on ww.immi.gov.au, then you would be fine. Of course cases do vary depending on your experience, qualification and age..etc but As i said, still good news if youre still on the recent CSL so check often.
My knowledge that CSL has been adjusted twice since it came out.

This line appeared to me two days ago, is it an indication of CO allocation?

Re: aspc new list confusion
It means they are no longer processing State Sponsored applications.
