Default Re: non-CSL occupations - on hold? since when? and how much longer do you expect

This is so unfair. So us onshore applicants who are on a bridging visa A until a decision is made will now have to pay EVERY time we need to leave the country!
This could be YEARS! Not to mention the medicals and UK and Oz police checks which had to be front loaded at the time of application. What a joke

Poster's Note: Maybe this thread should be renamed "don't bother reading this thread, it just contains the same unanswerable question over and over"
Poster's Note #2: water man, we don't know what country the poster comes from

I just could'nt leave this alone and did some research on the net last night. For what it's worth this post seems to be popping on other forum websites now as well.

But more importantly I finally found a similar announcement on an immigration agents website.

Here is the link http://www.visabureau.com/blog/post/...east-2010.aspx

Not importantly at all. Until it's confirmed by DIAC it's unsubstantiated and not worthy of discussion or concern.

Yes, for all we know this could be a ploy by migration agents to convince their MODL clients to cough out another $500/$750/$1000 for State Sponsorship Applications.

I have rang our agent and they have confirmed that it is true - if you're not SS, Employer sponsored or CSL then you will not be processed next year.

I've heard that some agents are not taking on new clients that are not in those categories.

Even so, your agent does not work for DIAC.
