treated by the same rules irrespective of the subsequent changes as they have accepted the fees, and our submission of application and DIAC acceptance, confirm that now DIAC is violating the terms of agreement, I am sure those with legal background would agree with me, if I am wrong please correct me.

What agreement? What terms are DIAC violating? Please state ur sources before making any complaint.
U should remember, DIAC is part of govt. A body, with the approval of lower and upper house, that can create any law they want to protect their citizens, just like other countries government.
I do hope u read the rules before applying about the application fees and prospective changes concerning our applications. Application fees in most cases are non-refundable and i haven't yet read any regulation that our application are precluded from the efffect of changes in any future.
It is nobody fault but ourselves if we do not understand the oz immi regulations before submitting our visa applications.

I hear you Pollyana, I just find it hard to believe that DIAC initially thought that they'd be finished CSL in May, and now they're taking 13 months from then?

I just worked it out, the processing of Visa's is going to take another year because DIAC is too busy answering the 10,000 PLE's they get every day and don't have the time to look at visa application files.

I wouldn't be surprised if that has something to do with it. Bound to slow things down, but people just don't seem to appreciate that, do they?

This is pretty much what we've been telling people. Most low priority applicants are going to have to get themselves state sponsored with current occupations or seek new skills assessments, or hope that the global financial crisis recedes. One DIAC official is mentioning that those who are family sponsored at the moment may be the first to benefit if there is any relaxation, and there is an election next year, but otherwise very good that DIAC is finally coming clean about the delays.

George,

Have they said/hinted anything about changing CSL list this July/Aug. Cos I already have a CO and all my docs have been met. In case they change the CSL again I would not be granted VISA.
:fingerscrossed:

Impossible!

There are too many variants : number of applicant's, workload, complexity of cases, number of SS applicants constantly growing to mention just a few.... sorry - if only it were that simple.. :sneaky:

I found this on the BEUpdate.co.uk site and it may be that the person who posted this might have had some data to support such a claim. The trend also gives us an opportunity to sneak in our PCC and medicals at the right time before the CO is assigned.

BE Update is just run by ordinary posters and thus the data there is just supplied by a very small part of the total number of applicants. They would not have access to and DIAC data that isn't available anywhere else.

How long after Medicals Finalised?

Hi

I am 175 CSL MODL applicant.

I have following questions.

1. CO asked for medicals & PCC. Does it mean that all other papers attached to the application are all fine? & there is no requirement other then medical & PCC?

2. How long it will take to grant the visa after medical is finalised?

3. What exactly happens after you see your online status "Medical fnalised"?

Kindly reply ..

Eva.

eva-usa,

Better option will be to change the question/Thread to ..please share your experience..:)

It will coz the Moderators also less work as they need to clarify in many of these threads that "no one knows.."

Just a thot..
