Subclass 186 - Medicals complete, how long now?

All,

We completed our medicals last week, but have a couple of questions;

1. Do the medical results come directly to us for submission or do Medibank submit them directly to DIAC?

2. Any idea on the length of time it will take from completion of a medical until a decision is made?

All other documents have been submitted and medicals were the last thing.

Cheers

Hi,

Medicals will be submitted directly to DIAC, and it takes a few days after you've had your medical for them to be submitted (delay is for blood test results and such )

I don't think it takes too long after for a decision, unless medicals are referred, but couldn't pin that down to a specific number of days or weeks.

:fingerscrossed: not long now :)
