hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone can answer this. I have looked on the IMMI website but it is a little like knitting fog lol.

Can we apply for this offshore and onshore?

In other words we have got onto the uni course (foundation then degree) can we go over to Aus sooner than the usual 2 months in advance?

I hope this makes sense to someone lol

Hi Lace,

We are here on a student visa, as far as I know assessemnt level 1 can apply online and but not sure if you can do it onshore, I think initial student visa should be granted before you get here. Hopefully one of the experts can advise. We are on a subclass 572 and we could arrive in Oz 12 weeks prior to the course starting. We arrived 8 Nov and my course starts nect Monday.
