Student Visa

Hi,I m from Pakistan.....my enquiry is that i m applying for australian student visa ,how much time will it take for visa to be granted

It will take as long as it takes.

Have you decided against taking up the State Sponsorship you mention in previous posts then?

Most people on here are from Britain (being Britishexpats), which is a low risk country, Pakistan is a high risk country, so our time lines are likely to be very different to what you might experiance.

A memebr had posted today that his friend from Pakistan had applied for student visa in Oct 2009 and has got the visa today, so that is like 9 months

Bloomin hell! That is VERY different to the time scales for British people then!

Gosh...9 months is a long time. Mine took just 4 weeks (UK). That was 4.5 years ago so may be different now though.

although there was a long wait but at-least that student visa was finally granted
but we are yet to hear of a single GSM visa grant for any Pakistani who applied after April 2009
