STNI Victoria Urban and Regional Planner

Hi there,

has anyone immigrated through Victorian State Nomination being an
Urban and Regional Planner?
According to the SOL it is worth 50 points and a recent work
experience of 24 months is required. Is it 24 months out of a total
employment of 3 years or are 24 months alright?

Regards,
Doerte

Hi - I am a town planner and I am currently going through this process. I have been nominated by the Victoria Govt, had my skills assessed be VETASSESS and have appleid for a subclass 137 visa which is being processed at the moment.

I seem to remember that an URP was only worth 50 points - can't help you with the last bit as it is a while since I went through all the forms etc.

Hi Bret,
thanks for your message. Since URP is in high demand in regions
outside of Melbourne did you have to provide a job offer as well?

Doerte

Cheers!
