STNI and SIR visa- whats the difference?

hi, hope someone can clear this up, but what are the differences between stni and sir visa?

STNI is a permanent visa and SIR is a temporary visa.

SIR is a much more restrictive visa in comparison to STNI. AVOID IF
POSSIBLE.
