This is an email we received today from the South Australian Government about e-lodging of STNI applications:

STNI - State/Territory Nominated Independent Scheme (137):

Immigration SA is constantly developing and refining procedures to provide an even more efficient and effective service to you and your clients. Some of you might be aware that we have been planning to provide better access to application forms. To this end, I am happy to announce to you that the

STNI APPLICATION FORM IS NOW LIVE ON THE WEB!

This means that you no longer have to contact us to request the Application Form for an STNI Nomination. This letter (attached) outlines the new and improved process. Naturally, we seek your assistance in determining the eligibility of the applicant and their genuineness to live in SA before directing them to the Application Form.

To find the STNI Questionnaire Application Form:

* Go to the Immigration SA website at: www.immigration.sa.gov.au
* Go the Menu on the left-hand side to "Application Forms"
* Go the Sub-menu that says "STNI" and click on that
* It will take you to an explanation of the Scheme
* Direct you to the Fact Sheets on STNI and the Occupations for State
Nominations - South Australia
* Direct you to the Application Form which is completed on-line and
submitted direct to Immigration SA via a data base.
We will therefore no longer be accepting hard copies of the Questionnaire/Application Form.
