Yes, you've guessed it, "AVAVISA" The latest production from the team that also produced "Matt Down Under" earlier in the year!

Ok, I am just a little excited that I have received an email from our CO to say he is doing our grant letter either later tonight, or first thing tomorrow Oz time. It is in response to my email, asking if "The Pony Express Mail" had arrived yet.
I will not celebrate just yet, not until I have printed out that letter and locked it in the safe!

Cheers

Matt

Now THAT is something to celebrate! Congratulations, will there be a train set under the xmas tree this year? Your minds have obviously been elsewhere the past few weeks.

Have a great Christmas & New Year

Hey Matt, that's great news. Hope I'm not interrupting a wild party, but do you have to be outside Oz for a visa to be actually "granted" do you think?

So a qualified smilie until I hear that all is well.

Cheers

Hi Steve

The CO knows that we are in OZ and that we cannot leave for a while yet. So we will see what the letter says when it comes. Obviously we have to be outside Oz to have the visas put in our passports and then come back in, so not sure if it matters where you actually are, as long as they know, for the grant!

Cheers

Matt

After seeing how much shopping the two grandmothers have done there could be a lot more than a train set under the tree!!

Fingers crossed that dad's visa comes through in 2010 so he can be with us for next Christmas.

Have a great Christmas

CONGRATULATIONS

At last, we are congratulating you and you family, you can now have a RED STAR

Was beginning to wonder if Immi knew something more about you! I reckon, it was much harder for you to get your visa, that all the convicts, that entered Aus. years ago! maybe your so squeaky clean, Immi wasn't sure if you would be ok! and then, peraphs Mr Brown didn't want you to 'leave' the UK?

HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS!

OK Matt that's officially a champagne moment. Uncertainty is over at last. It's been a long time coming, but entertaining at times!

Now Matt, I'm sorry but I seem to be out of red stars... hang on, no, there's one here in the drawer. I need to order some more.
