ive sent my vetassess off as a construction project manager off but have found Building Associate on Western Australian Occupations in Demand List.

which would i be better off with? i do everything in both jobs so i could go for any of them.

If you are expecting a quick grant then you should go through skilled sponsored path.

I think both building Associate and project manager are not on CSL, correct me if I'm wrong.
So state sponsorship will give your application processing priority while being just on MODL is a bit risky (since there might be some changes in the skilled immigration process due to the current economical situation), since no one knows what will happen next. On the other hand state sponsorship comes with a 2 year restiction (to work and live in the nominating state for 2 years).
So your choices are, quick processing and 2 year restriction + new assessment(also pass mark is 100 point with extra 10 points you get from state sponsorship).
Or stay on MODL not knowing when you will get a grant although your visa will have no restrictions (pass mark is currently 120).

Another thing, if you can afford to pay another assessment fee, I say you lodge a second assessment with out withdrawing the first. Just in case anything happens while you wait for the assessment.
