Default Statutory Declaration, is it ok to......?

If I'm looking to get PR on a spouse visa from the UK, I'm English and my wife is Australian, is it ok for my wife's parents to complete statutory declarations in Australia for us? And should they use the form that you can download from the Imm.gov.au site or do we need to use the form I would use over here, ie the one with the 1835 Act on it rather than the 1959 (or whatever the years are?)

Thanks

Andrew

Cant remember which thread but if you do a search - I am sure only a few days ago somebody answered a question similar to yours referring to the two bits of legislation in your post - maybe narrow it down by referring to one of the Acts.

All the best.
