Hi,
Even we are applying for NT state sponsorship but I didn't find where they have mentioned 30 weeks processing time? Yea 30 weeks is too long !!!!!

Hai Harsha,

I received the acknowledgement on 22 Dec 2010. they told that " please be advised that the current processing time is 30 weeks." it is too long and definitely fall after july..

Hi,

I have received two replies.

1. On enquiring about the processing time in Dec'10 - "Current processing may take up to 30 weeks"
2. When acknowledging the application in Feb'11 - "At present processing of nominations is taking approximately 30 weeks"

Let God help us!!!

@Harsha: we have still not applied, I was surprised when I read 30 weeks !!!! that's too long initially I thought it might be typing error, but now reading above posts it seems really they take 30 weeks oops....

I emailed them to confirm if it was 30 days or 30 weeks, and they replied in confirmation of 30 WEEKS with an explanation that they are overloaded with many applications.

30 WEEKS = 7.5 freaking months

I am also from Bangalore next week i am applying for Northern territory state sponsorship i am an electronic equipment trades person. Even i am with the same confusion, how to show financial statement ? i dont have money in cash of that amount. Pls give me some information.

you can use land, gold, bank deposit etc. and get a statement from a charterd accountant.
NT takes about 30weeks, if possible, try to apply somewhere.

What documents should i need to submit to demonstrate i have required financial capacity (Individual Applicant: AUD 35,000) to settle in the Northern Territory?
