Default state sponsor

if you get sponsored by a state it says that you have to live there for at least 2 years what happens if you leave that state before the 2 years is up?do you lose your visa? or do they not really keep track of it?

the 2 year undertaking is more a moral undertaking. If you initially go to the sponsoring State and then decide there is better opportunity for you and you family elsewhere, then you are free to go - No harm in advising the sponsoring State out of courtecy

we have already applied for a 175 in nov 2008 but since the new critical skills list was releaesed my fiancee's job (chef) is not on it.
we thought if we changed from a 175 and got sponsored by a state this would get us there faster, do you think this would be the case? on the statement released it said that all state sponsored applications would be assigned case officers by 13th feb
