Spouse Visa with no English knowledge?

My Fiancé don't speak English, is English important for a Spouse Visa?

Not for a spouse visa. But if she wants to work and/or enjoy life in Australia she is
going to need to learn English, whether required for her visa or not.

As I know, after your arriving to Oz You will have to pay for an English course for
your spouse. (If, of course, you are planning to go to Oz). I do not remember the
fee, but I can check it if you wont.

I'd be interested to see if he can come up with any evidence to back this up.

A supplementary charge (for English lessons) does apply for spouses and adult
dependants of skilled migrants, but not to spouses of Australian citizens/PR coming
in through the Family Stream.

Yes, it's true. The fee I wrote about only relates general skilled migrants' spouse.
