Spouse entry ! optional or required

hi,
i have one question.. (my excuse if this comman and repated question
here)
to make an entry in Australia (just want to enter temp and then later
some time will perm shift ) do i have to take my spouse along for temp
entry.
or my alone temp entry would be enough to close the immig entry
requirment and then later after some time i go with my wife for
permanent shift.
suggestions and advise

Entry has to be made for each visa issued

Morphee,
your wife must also make a validation trip. (also any children that may be emigrating with you). It doesnt have to be at the same time as you but it must be before the entry date stated on her visa grant.

Thanks for your reply
So even for temporary entry each depandant who has been issued visa
as to make entry along primary migrant... no? as i read in the letter
that depandent (in this case my wife) can not enter with out me or
before me.
is it so ?

They can not enter before you, but they have to enter either with you or after you.
