Hi,
me and my partner are thinking about immigrating to Australia. My
partner has enough points, however, I do not qulaify as my job is not
on the SOL, can I still apply??
Also, on the initial form it asks for employer reference. But isnt this
a bit risky, as your employer will think that you are leaving, even
though it could take months.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards

My husband and I are going to apply under my qualifications and he will
just sort-of tag along with a spouse visa. He does not have enough
points to qualify on his own. You should be able to do the same thing.

You can be put on his visa so long as you can prove 12 months de-facto relationship.
For the reference you can either provide a stat dec if you really can't tell your boss, but in most cases they are happy to help as it's not like you are just moving to another company. My OH bosses were told that it was a "long shot" and they seemed happy with it
