Sponsorship visas
Hi all
I wonder if anyone can help?
I'm looking to move to Brisbane to be with my gf, however we have not been together 12 months and I'm 31...so the visa options are limited at best.
Does anyone know of any companies that specialise in helping you find employer sponsorship?
My background is logistics i.e imports/exports, seafreight, airfreight etc
Many thanks
Stew

Also read booklets 5 and 6 to see whether you have a chance of any of the skilled visas. Formal qualifications will help but these are not the sole basis of meeting the requirements.

Re: Sponsorship visas
See if you can get yourself along to one of the employment expo's. It's a good opportunity to market yourself to potential employers in Australia - if it turns out that you do need sponsorship then you'll be more likely to find willing sponsors among those that are already seeking skills overseas.
Plus there are usually a ton of migration agents at these things that will give you a free assessment what your best visa option is too.
I'm off to Expo Australia in London this April (google expo australia, it's top of the list)
