Default Sponsorship

Hi everyone

I am wondering whether any one can answer my questions. I have done a few posts whilst I was on a WHVlast year.

I am a 23 year old graduate. I worked at a law firm as a receptionist in the Gold Coast for 6 months after coming out on my own. Despite my employer trying to sponsor me, after many months it was impossible.

So after missing home and being home sick, I decided to come home. Three months later, I am still unsettled and I miss Australia a lot.

Are there any routes that I could do on a budget? My dad gets his citizenship for New Zealand in a few weeks however I understand I am too old for him to sponsor me??

Any help or experience old be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Natasha

I have an English law degree and nearly two years experience as a legal secretary. I would live to qualify as a solicitor over here however I am aware of the cost if this.

Has anyone had any experience in the legald ector?

Thank you

My sister did law first, but then did social work.

Without a skill in demand you don't have many options - no aussie partner lurking?

Is legal secretary on the occupation lists? If it is not, then skilled migration is probably out for you. What you want to do in the future doesn't come into skilled migration, but if you qualify as a solicitor in the UK then perhaps in the future that will present a path.

I don't know the rules for New Zealand child visa sponsorship, you would need to ask in the New Zealand forum. But if he were an Australian PR or citizen then he would not be able to sponsor you for an Australian child visa as you are clearly not dependent upon him. New Zealand child visa would not get you back to Australia of course anyway.
