Sponsor qualification
 

Hello!

I have been reading the exchanges in this forum for the past few months and some of the information here have been very useful.

I have some questions about sponsors. We are considering having an Aunt in Sydney sponsor us. Aside from PR or OZ citizenship, are there other requirements for sponsors? Is financial capacity to support us necessary even if cousins are willing to become our assurer? What can disqualify my Aunt from becoming a sponsor? Is there a website I can visit that will give me more detailed information about sponsors?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
