Under the 138 sub class it says...
"For this visa category, you must be related to your sponsor as one of the following:
a non-dependent child – including a natural, adoptive or step-child
a parent
a brother or sister – including adoptive or step-siblings
a niece or nephew – including adoptive or step-niece or nephew.
an aunt or uncle"
Are step aunts included in above?

I think it depends on the situation. How long has she been married to your uncle etc. Are they still together, if divorced, I would say no chance (personal experience), but if widowed then maybe. You need to explain the family link in more detail.
