South Australia Sponsorship
Hi guys
New to this forum. I'm looking to apply for SA sponsorship. I however almost done but didn't understand last section question. They are asking to mention "Please identify organisations or companies in South Australia that are relevant to your nominated occupation".
Just wondering what I should write? Do I need to mention company names or type of the companies? i.e. XYZ services or XYZ Air conditioning repairs?
Thanks a lot,
Ranbir

Hi,
I would say it relates to specific companies or organizations. Not being a specialist, I think the objective of the question is to evaluate the research you have done.

Re: South Australia Sponsorship
Hi
I am looking forward to apply for SA 489 Visa and as registered Telecom Engineer with Engineers Australia, I have few concerns.
1) What kind of jobs are available there? If professional, then which is the best source to get a job relating to degree or if odd, then which sort of job could be find easily.
2) Is Adelaide a good city to live in as per contract a time of mini 2 years need to be spent before moving to another state.
3) After 2 years, in order to apply for PR, do the work experience should be relevant to professional for the past 12 months or as per their website " To be granted this visa, you must have lived for at least two years and worked full time for a total period of 12 months in a Specified Regional Area of Australia before lodging your visa application." OR any full time work would be relevant.
4) Different people have different perceptions regarding AUS. Do you think, it will be a good city to live in?
Thanks in advance.
Rehan

With regards to financials, I think it was $20k for main applicant and additional $10k for each dependant added e.g. family of 2 = $30K, family of four = $50k. Don't recall having to prove finances when applying but you should be ready to because they can ask you to prove it.
We enjoyed Adelaide and surrounding areas but didn't travel too far as we only had 2 weeks. There are plenty of people from the area who can offer better insights, but you really want to visit if you can to see if it's for you or not

Re: South Australia Sponsorship
Dear
Thanks for explaining your experience regarding Adelaide. I live in South Asia so it will be much far for me to go and visit. I am actually concerned regarding the job opportunities either in profession or in odd job in order to have a living. Moreover, in which area you should have expertise in order to gain a quick job?
Regarding financials, I mean do you have to show either an asset or liquid regarding dependents and main applicants ?
Thanks
Rehan

Re: South Australia Sponsorship
Please do not use this term in these situations. It implies familiarity and endearment.
