How do you go about getting your police checks done if you haven't been requested them yet? Applied July 2003 and just want to get the ball rolling but don't know where to start, is there a special form, I know this question has been asked b4 but couldn't find it on a search, thanks for your help.

Can i ask a question on this. I assume it doesnt matter that you have only lived somewhere for a while. i.e Scotland for 1yr, and London for many years before that, i would still contact the police here.

Secondly, how long before they expire?

finally, I am moving to Oz some 6 months before I expect my police checks to be requested for my PR visa, what police station would I contact then if I am actually living in Oz?
