got our results from tra we failed so gutted . they say mark didnt do enough hours training
so we have started looking at engineers australia for electrical engineer ( origanally applied for special class) but not sure if he will be able to do this as he only got level 2 nvq engineering manufacture, not sure if im reading it right as they want graduate qulifacations , ooo please help my head is spinning can someone put me right if mark can apply with engineers oz or not .
he has been employed and got 13 years work experince

thanks got in contact yesterday, they are passing message on and she ll ring monday , feel more positive today was just on a downer yesterday im going to ring tra tomorrow to just get some advice on the application

A friend of my husband only had a city & guild certificate, but have been working as engineer for 20 years, he couldnt get in, but when he saw specialist agent/solicitor, she managed to get him, his visa, I'm sure a good agent would be able to help you.

Try not to worry, many people have failed their TRA first time and often it can be due to the way it is presented/worded as well as shortage on hours/experience.

Definitely contact an agent because it can make all the difference. If you do a search you will see how many have failed first time and have passed the second time, and are living their new lives in Australia.

It is hard for you now but with the right advice and guidance, hopefully you will sail through it the second time and this will be a distant memory.

Don't give up, get your advice and take it from there. It is a setback for you and one that you may well be able to overcome.

if it just the TRA you have failed.
Try again with state nomination, only this time put down more hours training. Sometimes they fail you , because the form is not clear to them.
Try getting an agent to help, its worth it in the long run.

Take it easy & try not to stress too much. No matter how impossible the situation may seem, there is always something you can do

And... we all have down days, so you're not alone there either

Did you keep copies of everything you sent to Vetassess? If so, forward everything to a decent agent for their opinion on what they can do to help you put things right. As others have said, sometimes it's not that you don't have the right experience or quals, it's more a case of whether you have presented it in a way that makes sense to the assessors.
