Skilled visa
 
Hi Im waiting on approval for my visa im told it takes 9 months to a year since the lodgement date which was end of may 2008 so 9 months is up on end of Feb, do these visa's gererally come through on time??

There is no "on time" for a visa. It could be granted in as little as 2 months or I've seen some from UK take 18 months or more. 9-12 months is just an average of visa grants from low risk countries.

Mine took a year , mate did you enclose that pic of yourself in it cause that would really speed up the process. ;)
