should we contact DIMIA
we have our pr. going to oz 16.04. we will be having 2 weeks in the uk, after our house sale, to do last minute things. during this time we will be staying with my mum, poss renting a holiday cottage and visiting lots of friends!
I know that we should contact adelaide if there is a change in circumstances. however when the change is only for such a short itme , do we need to let them know?

Only my opinion, but...
If this is for 2wks then I wouldnt bother. After all if you left UK and had a 2wk stopover somewhere you wouldnt tell them right ?? Just contact them once you land on OZ and confirm your arrival and new OZ address.
BTW, nosy question coming up...
Where abouts are you heading for in OZ cos we are flying out 2 days after you hopefully ?

When you get to Aus your arrival will be entered into the system at the airport anyway. There is no reason you should have any more contact with DIMA.
