Default Should I send my UK PCC Acknowledgement letter to my CO?

Hi,

Has anyone ever sent to their CO the acknowledgement letter stating that the UK PCC request has been requested and is being processed? Do CO’s want this information? I can’t imagine they would do but thought I’d ask the question.

They're only likely to want that info if for some reason you don't have your police check within any extra requested time. I can't imagine they'd want it as matter of course.

Hi

Wouldn't have thought so, CO's just need the PC check. Don't know if there would be any mileage in sending the above if your checks were delayed thus missing the timeline DIMIA give you to have documents returned.

Thanks very much.

That’s what I thought..If it looks like the PCCs are going to be delayed I will then send on the acknowledgement letter so it at least looks like I have done all I can.
